Analysis of Course Requirements in the Field of Vocational Education in the Building Engineering Education Study Program at Jakarta State University

This study aims to analyze the course requirements to support the professional competencies of prospective building engineering teachers. The method used is descriptive qualitative through interviews, documentation, and observation. The results of the study indicate that professional competencies such as mastery of material, design, implementation, and assessment of learning, professional development, understanding of students, collaboration, and professional ethics are already covered in the education courses in the Building Engineering Education Study Program at Jakarta State University, so there is no need for additional new courses. This study is limited to education courses and informants from the Building Modeling and Information Design (DPIB) program, but it is hoped that it can provide input for the study program in equipping students as professional educators.
