LITERATURE REVIEW: TIKTOK ADVERTISING CONTENT GIVES BIRTH TO A GENERATION OF DIGITAL CONSUMERISM

Increasingly sophisticated digital developments have a significant impact on consumptive behavior in today's generation. Ad content on the TikTok application influences user behavior by encouraging purchasing decisions for a product. The results of the analysis of various journals indicate that TikTok Ad Content which displays interesting content supported by endorsements from influencers has a very significant influence on the consumption patterns of today's teenagers. The purpose of this study is to determine how the influence of TikTok advertising content causes consumptive behavior in today's teenagers. This research uses a descriptive literature review method conducted on 10 pre-existing research journals as material in compiling the article. From this research, it can be seen how TikTok advertisements influence the consumptive nature of the current generation.
