Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of partnerships between local governments and the private sector in implementing Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) programs, particularly in the education sector. These partnerships are considered important because the involvement of various stakeholders can expand access, improve the quality of education services, and support the achievement of sustainable development targets. The research was conducted using a qualitative approach with case study methods in several regions that have implemented education partnership schemes. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with the government, private sector, and schools, supplemented by documentation and direct observation in the field. The results of the study show that collaboration between the government and the private sector has contributed positively to expanding learning opportunities, providing infrastructure, and improving the quality of learning. However, the effectiveness of the program is still hampered by limited coordination between parties, a lack of transparency in resource management, and the challenge of maintaining program continuity to ensure a long-term impact.
