Abstract

Futsal, a dynamic and high-intensity sport, carries a significant risk of injury for its players, especially the senior age group. Through a questionnaire and interview-based qualitative approach, this article explores the most common types of injuries among 19-21-year-old futsal players, as well as how they prevent and manage injuries. Results show that ankle sprain is the main complaint, often exacerbated by lack of warm-up and lack of professional medical treatment. This article emphasizes the importance of collective awareness, injury education, and evidence-based interventions in building a safer and more sustainable futsal ecosystem.
