SDG 13 ANALYSIS: GLOBAL CLIMATE CHANGE IMPACT ON EXTREME WEATHER PHENOMENA IN 2024
Keywords:
SDG 13, Perubahan Iklim , Cuaca EkstremAbstract
Global climate change is increasing the frequency and intensity of extreme weather events. This study assesses the impact of climate change by 2024, including reduced snowfall in the Al Jawf Desert, Saudi Arabia, a snowless period on Mount Fuji, Japan, and unstable rainfall in Indonesia. These phenomena arise from global atmospheric dynamics such as El Niño and the Indian Ocean Dipole (IOD). The findings underscore the need for urgent action in line with SDG 13 to enhance resilience to climate-related risks.
