Abstract

E-commerce in Indonesia has experienced rapid development along with the advancement of digital technology. Innovations in this sector, including the use of digital platforms, mobile applications, and payment technologies, have changed the way consumers shop and businesses operate. This article aims to analyze the footprint of e-commerce technology innovation in Indonesia, identify the factors that drive its growth, and examine the challenges faced by this sector. Ministry of Communication and Informatics Through a literature approach and secondary data, this study found that although e-commerce in Indonesia is growing rapidly, there are several obstacles, such as uneven infrastructure, dependence on internet networks, and data security and privacy issues. This study concludes that in order to maintain sustainable e-commerce growth, collaboration is needed between the government, industry players, and the community in improving infrastructure, regulations, and awareness of the importance of digital security.
