THE IMPACT OF 5G INTERNET NETWORK TECHNOLOGY ADVANCEMENTS ON THE QUALITY OF DIGITAL LEARNING

Abstract

This research aims to discuss in detail and in depth how 5G technology impacts the education sector in Indonesia, especially in digital learning. In its implementation, digital learning requires a stable and smooth internet network as a determining factor for the success of the digital learning method used. The method used in this research applies a qualitative type through a literature study approach. The results of this study include how 5G technology can be utilized for educators in improving the quality of digital learning. Currently, the utilization of 5G networks is still centered in several big cities and has not expanded to small cities, due to limited infrastructure that supports 5G network services. In conclusion, 5G technology opens up innovative technology support in digital learning. But on the other hand, there needs to be careful preparation from various aspects to ensure that the transition to the new generation technology can be carried out optimally and evenly.
